Molly Savage

Molly Savage serves as a Rabata Cultural Center Store Clerks. She earned her bachelor’s journalism & communication arts from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Molly is a creative storyteller and filmmaker, who also works on freelance film projects.

Wisconsin-born and Minnesota-raised, she is an avid traveler with a dream to explore and build connections in as many Muslim-majority countries as possible. She is passionate about using her creative skills to help shift the global narrative around Islam: showing the beauty of the religion & the diversity of Muslims around the world.

In 2022, she spent a year solo traveling in Egypt, Jordan, & Palestine and she eventually took her shahada while in Jerusalem, Palestine. This life-changing trip eventually brought her the new challenge of being Muslim back home in America. She is grateful she found Rabata.

Molly is thrilled to be a part of such an incredible Muslim community at Rabata while back home in Minnesota. Though Minnesota will always be home, she’s always ready for the many big adventures to come.
