Daybreak Press publishes books that give rise to women’s voices and promote positive cultural change. We are a traditional press and publish in a variety of literary genres and academic fields.

Special Call for Romance Submissions
Daybreak Press is seeking clean (inspirational) romance stories by newbies and seasoned writers. We are looking for stories that are driven by the characters’ faith, exclude intimate details and foul language, and end happily ever after! To submit your work, please follow the instructions for submitting a fiction manuscript (below) and put “Romance Submission” in the subject line of your email.
Congratulations on completing your manuscript! Before you submit, make sure to follow these steps for the greatest success:
- Reread and revise your manuscript.
- Seek feedback from at least three beta readers.
- Edit, edit, edit.
- Proofread and polish your manuscript.
- Submit!
For Nonfiction
Submit a proposal and the first three chapters as a Microsoft Word file in 12-point Times New Roman font.
For Fiction
Submit the complete work as a Microsoft Word file in 12-point Times New Roman font along with a query.
