Munira earned her Bachelor of Arts with concentrations in Management, Sociology, and Public Health, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to understanding how racial equity intersects with healthcare, entrepreneurship, and social impact. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management, expanding her expertise in nonprofit strategy, philanthropy, and impact measurement.
Munira began her career in Management Consulting, where she worked on global HR transformation projects for Fortune 100 and 500 companies and building expertise in project management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. She co-founded a nonprofit to combat period poverty in Africa, and serves a mentor supporting youth through wellness-based programs.
At Rabata, Munira is excited to integrate her skills in operations, strategy, and community engagement to support the operations and community initiatives. As she pivots into the nonprofit sector, she hopes to grow as a leader in this space and continue developing her ability to foster operational excellence, build meaningful partnerships, and advance equity.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Munira enjoys spending time with her family, including her four sisters, and exploring new coffee shops wherever she goes.
