Anse Abeer Aborshaed serves as an Arabic and Tajwīd instructor at the Ribaat Academic Institute. She received a diploma in Medical Engineering from Damascus University. In 2001, she received her ijāza in the recitation of the Quran from the late Shaykh Muhyi al-Din al-Kurdi, after which time she memorized Imam Al-Nawawi’s Riyadh Al-Salihin. She also holds an ijāza in memorization of the Forty Hadith of Imam Nawawi and a certification in teaching al-Qāʿida al-Nūrāniyya.
Originally hailing from Syria, Anse Abeer was born and raised in the blessed Madinah al-Munawarrah. Upon her return to Syria, she studied with some of the most renowned teachers in Damascus in the areas of fiqh, ‘aqīda, sīra, hadīth, tafsīr, tajwīd, rijāl, and sciences of hadīth at the Nurriyah Hadith School.
Currently, she teaches Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Sciences to an array of students all around the world, sharing her expertise and her love for Islamic knowledge to all.
She started teaching with the Ribaat Academic Institute in 2017 as a tajwīd instructor, and two years later, she also joined instruction for the Arabic department. In 2024, she started leading a halaqa with Rabata.
