Dr. Basma Alwani serves as Lecturer at Ibn Haldun University in Istanbul, Turkey, in the field of Arabic Language and Literature. She is a published professor and distinguished in her field. In 2010, she received her degree in Applied Linguistics from the Saint Joseph University of Beirut, where she then continued her studies to complete her Ph.D. in Arabic Language and Literature. Her degrees provided her with the necessary background and experience leading her to specialization in instruction of Arabic as a foreign language.
Prior to her current role, Dr. Alwani served for over a decade as a faculty member at the Dokuz Eylül University in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature. It is with this vast experience of instruction in the Arabic language that Dr. Alwani joins the Ribaat Academic Institute as an instructor in the Arabic language department.
