Ustadha Sadaf Syed (Um Talhah) serves as an Arabic instructor at the Ribaat Academic Institute. She holds certification in teaching Tajwīd and Arabic grammar from Saudi Arabia, an ijāza in the Asharah Qira’aat (10 Recitations) from Shaykh Uthman Khan. Ustadha Sadaf is also on the path toward graduation from Mishkah University with a degree in Islamic Sharīʿa.
Pakistani-American Ustadha Sadaf holds the many titles of writer, speaker, teacher, mosque tour guide, Hajj & Umrah guide, motivational speaker but none that she holds as dear as mama to 4 amazing Muslim youths. She has spent the last 30 years studying and teaching Arabic, Quran, and Islamic sciences in the US and overseas. She specializes in helping people connect back to the basics of Islam, specifically with their relationship with Allah.
She joined Ribaat as an instructor in 2023.
