Hannah Alkadi

Hannah Alkadi serves as Rabata’s Social Media Coordinator. She earned her Bachelor of Art degree in Mass Communication (Digital Advertising) from Louisiana State University and is currently pursuing her Master in Fine Art in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. After her undegraduate degree, Hannah also received a certifcate in classical Arabic and foundational Islamic sciences from Qalam Seminary, and an ijaza in tajwid and Quranic reading from Critical Loyalty College.

Hannah first joined the Rabata community as a student of Ribaat’s drumming course, a participant of Pilgrims at Home, Masjid Rabata programs, and Daybreak Writing Circle. She is now excited to bring her years of social media experience, digital advertising, and writing to the Communications team.

A well-rounded, sharp-witted, and open-hearted writer with experience in agencies, nonprofits, multimedia platforms, personal brands, and an app, Hannah is also a children’s book author, volunteer editor, and caffeinated graduate student. Her work has been featured in Muslim Youth Musings, Amaliah, Traversing Tradition, and MuslimMatters.
