Roda Bile serves as a store clerk at Rabata Cultural Center and Bookshop. A student at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls, Roda is pursuing a degree in elementary education. During her free time, she volunteers at Regions Hospital as a tutor, and she aspires to become a second grade teacher one day.
Roda’s mother first introduced her to the RCC, bringing Roda along as she attended the ladies halaqat. Roda found a community of loving support, and still continues to be inspired by the people of Rabata, supported by their mentorship and friendship.
Her favorite things to do when she is not working at RCC are cooking and baking, reading novels, traveling, and trying new things. A huge advocate of trying new things, Roda is very passionate about worldly experiences and she hopes to inspire her students one day to feel the same.
Her favorite book at Rabata Bookshop is Love from A to Z.
