Anse Tasneem Naji is Syrian American and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. Many of her childhood summers were spent in Syria. She finds great benefit in visiting her family, reconnecting with her culture, and building up her deen during these times with the guidance of wonderful female teachers. Anse Tasneem has been blessed to attend Islamic schools for her K12 schooling in the US, and has always made an effort to continue her Islamic and Arabic studies. Anse Tasneem earned an Ijaza in al-Qaida al-Nuraniyah and began teaching with Rabata in the summer of 2023.
During the school year, Anse Tasneem works as a school psychologist. She earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Special Education and then completed graduate studies in School Psychology. She currently lives with her husband in Minnesota and enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and hiking.
