Anse Farah Malas

Anse Farah Malas was born and raised in Damascus, Syria where she received her Islamic education in a range of Islamic Sciences including fiqh, aqida, sirah, and tajwid. She received an Ijazah in the Holy Quran in the Hafs recitation as well as a bachelor of pharmacy from Damascus University. She later moved to the United
States where she has been teaching Arabic, Quran, and Islamic education to Muslim youth and adults both in person and online.
Farah joined Rabata in 2021 when she became a tajwid teacher at Ribaat and at the Rabata Cultural Center.

Farah currently lives in Minnesota with her husband and two kids. She is pursuing a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and enjoys coffee, reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
