Anse Farah Malas serves as a Tajwīd instructor with the Ribaat Academic Institute and at Rabata Cultural Center. She received her Islamic education in a range of Islamic Sciences including tajwīd, sīra, fiqh, and ‘aqīda. She received an ijāza in the Holy Quran in the Hafs recitation as well as a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Damascus University.
Born and raised in Damascus, Syria, Anse Farah later moved to the United States where she has been teaching Arabic, Quran, and Islamic education to Muslim youth and adults both in person and online.
Anse Farah currently lives in Minnesota with her husband and two kids. She is pursuing a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and enjoys coffee, reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Anse Farah joined the Ribaat Academic Institute in 2021.
